Painted Edge Business Cards Templates

If you're looking for a business card that stands out, the painted-edge cards are awesome! These business cards look incredible. This type of card has no problem drawing attention when mixed in with other business cards. The cards are thick and durable, so they can withstand being tossed in a pocket. Take the star rating with a grain of salt. I would have rated these 5 stars, but I don't believe in the subjectivity of rating scales. The downside of the thickness is that if /when they bend, the crease is permanent. It also takes up more room to carry multiple cards in your wallet, unless you are using a business card wallet. We don't, because it's inconvenient to carry too many things in our purses or pockets. The other small gripe I have is that we had limited design options; we wanted a high-gloss embossed logo, but it wasn't available on this type of card. That would also lead to a thicker, more inconvenient card when carrying in your wallet.

I have been using the painted edge business card design for years for team business cards. We always get compliments on them and I know it makes a memorable impact at a critical time in the sales pipeline. The thicker paper ensures that they will hold onto our contact information and the personalization of a blue (or any color) edge gives it that additional pop you want when making a first impression that counts.

The cut was off and it is very obvious that it is not straight. I made sure everything was at 0 degrees before submitting. I think the process of creation, review and submission is easy and clear; but ultimately the end product is what counts. For the price and the wait time, I expected the final product to be of excellence. I am very disappointed and embarrassed to hand out my business card.

second time ordering specifically this cards: durable, heavyweight, so pretty! love the painted edge - that’s a cool thing to play with once designing style of the card itself!

I really like these. The edge color is bright and beautiful. The weight is great too. My only gripe is that the color was a bit off. I'm a designer, so I know that colors can shift, but the color was a bit more shifted than I would have liked.
